Calamari Rings


  • Squid
  • Potato Starch
  • Cornflour
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Lemon


  1. Clean and dry squid
  2. Slice into rings to suit.
  3. Coat with potato starch and cornflour
  4. Once coated sprinkle any other flavor or seasoning you enjoy on it.
  5. Into a medium heat pan melt butter and infuse with crushed garlic.
  6. Add squid and turn once golden
  7. Once both sides golden remove and dry on paper towel
  8. Serve, squeeze lemon, salt eat.

You can also shallow or deep fry. Please note that when you put the squid in Oil they may stick together, do not separate for at least a minute. This allows the coating to cook onto the squid thus making it easier for each ring to separate rather than pulling the coating off shortly after entry to the organic, low fat, low carb, zero sugar cooking medium.
